이지 잉글리쉬는 듣고 따라하기에는 쉬운 교재이다.

내용을 외워서 말해보는것도 그리 어렵지 않다.

그렇지만, 막상 그 내용을 누군가에게 설명하는 것처럼 요약해서 말해보면 결코 쉽지 않다.

바로 이것이 스피킹 연습이 될꺼라 생각한다.

그래서 아래 스토리를 누군가에게 말하는것처럼 연습해봤다.

내가 작성한것들이 말이 되는지 알고 싶은데, 더 좋은 표현이나 수정할 부분이 있다면 알려주기 바란다.

이글을 보신 분들도 한번 해보시길 추천한다.

 

 

 

[스토리]

미란다 오늘 불러 주셔서 감사해요.

닉 와서 앉으세요. 제가 직접 이 닭칼국수를 만들었답니다.

미란다 와, 냄새가 정말 좋아요. 요리를 잘하시는 줄은 몰랐네요.

닉 입맛에 맞으셨으면 좋겠어요.

미란다 이 냄새를 맡으니까 배가 더 고파지는데요.

 

 

[요약]

그가 그녀와 함께 점심을 먹기 위해(그녀에게 점심을 대접하기 위해) 집으로 초대했다.

음식 냄새에 그녀는 배가 더 고파졌다.

그녀가 아직 음식을 먹지는 않았지만 냄새만으로도 음식이 맛있을거라고 생각하는거 같다.

그래서 이렇게 말한다.

당신이 이렇게 음식을 잘 하는지는 몰랐네요.

그러자 그는 입맛에 맛길 바란다고 말한다.

I think the EBS Easy English is easy to listen to and repeat.

But it is hard to explain to someone about passages in it.

I'm sure that this way would help me speak English.

So, I read a passage, included below, and wrote a summary as if I were talking about it.

I want to know if the summary makes sense.

Please, after reading it, provide me better expressions where applicable.

I recommend you to try this way, too.

 

[ Episode 1 ]

Miranda     Thanks for having me today.

 

Nick          Come and have a seat.

                I made these chicken noodles myself.

 

Miranda     Wow, it smells good.

                I didn't know you were good at cooking.

 

Nick          I hope you like it.

 

Miranda     This smell is making me hungrier.

 

 

 

 

[ Summary 1 ]

He invited her to have lunch together at his house.

The food's smell is making her more hungry.

She didn't still have the food but I think she is thinking that the food is going to be good.

So she says this.

I didn't know you are good at cooking like this.

And he says I hope you like it.
