이지 잉글리쉬는 듣고 따라하기에는 쉬운 교재이다.

내용을 외워서 말해보는것도 그리 어렵지 않다.

그렇지만, 막상 그 내용을 누군가에게 설명하는 것처럼 요약해서 말해보면 결코 쉽지 않다.

바로 이것이 스피밍 연습이 될꺼라 생각한다.

그래서 아래 스토리를 누군가에게 말하는 것처럼 연습해 봤다.

내가 작성한것이 말이 되는지, 더 좋은 표현이나 수정 할 부분이 있다면 알려주기 바란다.

준      엄마, 우리 떡뽁이 시켜 먹을까요?

엄마   요새 우리 배달 음식을 너무 많이 먹었잖니.

         엄마가 맛있는 거 해 줄게.

준       알겠어요. 근데, 저 배가 좀 고파요.

엄마    그럼 저녁을 일찍 먹자.

          아빠가 곧 오실 거야.

준       그때까지 저 게임 해도 돼요?

 

[변   형]

준       엄마, 배가 좀 고픈데, 우리 떡뽁이 시켜 먹을까요?

엄마    떡뽁이! 또 시켜먹어? 어제도 시켜 먹었었잖아.

          엄마가 대신에 맛있는거 해 줄게.

준       알았어요. 근데 좀 빨리 만들어 주세요.

엄마    그럼 오늘 저녁을 좀 일찍 먹자.

          다행히 아빠도 곧 오신다고 문자 왔었어.

준       그럼 그때까지 저 게임하고 있을께요.

I think the EBS Easy English is easy to listen to and repeat.

It is not that hard to speak after memorizing a passage.

But it is so hard to explain to someone about passages in it

So, I'm sure that this way would help me speak English.

So, I read a passage, included below, and wrote a summary as if I were talking about it.

I want to let me know if the paraphrasing makes sense.

Please, after reading it, provide me better expressions where applicable.

 

And I recommend you to try this way, too.

Jun        Mom, can we order some tteokbokki?

Mom     We've eaten too much delivery food lately.

            I'll make something delicious for you.

Jun        Okay. I'm a little bit hungry, though.

Mom     Then let's have an early dinner.

            Your father is going to be home soon.

Jun        Can I play games until then?

 

 

[Paraprasing]

Jun        Mom, I'm a little hungry. Can we order some tteokbokki?

Mom     Tteokbokki? Do you want it again? We had it yesterday, too.

            I'll make you something delicious instead.

Jun        Okay, but, make it fast, please.

Mom     Then let's have an early dinner.

            Fortunately, your father texted that he is going to be home soon.

Jun        So, I'm going to play games until then.
